Lumiwings Becomes the First Airline in Greece to Implement Kiu PSS
Lumiwings signed an agreement with Kiu System Solutions and became the first airline in Greece to implement the Kiu PSS.
Lumiwings is an airline based in Athens, Greece, which operates charter and ACMI passenger service in the region using Boeing 737-300 aircraft. It will also operate scheduled flights from Forli, Italy starting March 2021.
Through this agreement, Lumiwings will be able to manage reservations, inventory and ticketing. Kiu's GDS and passenger booking solutions will also drive the online growth of all Lumiwings sales channels, while enabling innovation and strategic preparation for this new stage in the industry.
“Kiu's simple, open and agile system will allow Lumiwings to deliver unique travel incentives. The Kiu team has worked with us in a fast and fluid implementation and we foresee that this will be a positive long-term relationship” said Efthymios Zacharias, Managing Director - Lumiwings.
Kiu System technology will also support Lumiwings in areas such as Revenue Accounting for the complete control of the airline’s revenue channels and also Business Intelligence to keep management better informed.
“This multi-systems agreement will be a key piece to strengthen our distribution in Greece and the entire region. It will support Lumiwings in achieving its business goals and play a positive role in the airline's growth strategy,” said Alberto Desimone, CEO of Kiu System Solutions.
With the incorporation of Lumiwings, despite recent industry events, Kiu continues to progress and strengthen its position in Europe to meet the globalization objective, with Greece being the 24th country with Kiu’s presence.
