World 2 Fly, the new airline of Iberostar, chooses Kiu System Solutions

 Kiu Announces New Partnership Agreement; World 2 Fly, the new airline of Iberostar, one of the largest business groups in the world, which already had three brands: W2M DMC, one of the largest incoming agencies in Spain, Portugal, Andorra, the United States, and Cuba; W2M API,  global provider of accommodation and destination services with an inventory of more than 500,000 resorts worldwide; and last but not least, W2M Pro, a tour operator with more than 6,000 travel agencies connected in Spain, Portugal and Italy.


World 2 Fly signed a multi-year contract with Kiu for its 2 airlines in Spain and Portugal, opting for Kiu’s complete Suite of solutions. This suite includes a robust reservation system, check-in system, unique GDS, E-commerce , revenue accounting and business intelligence. For the second stage of their business, they will also utilize Kiu Loyalty to maintain their frequent flyer program.

 

World 2 Fly plans to start operating in March 2021, with an A330-300 equipped with 388 coach seats. In May 2021, they expect to receive a brand new A350, followed by an additional brand new A350 unit by 2022.


Their first destinations include Cancun, Cuba, and Punta Cana. Thanks to the strong positioning of Kiu GDS in the region, Kiu will be the key element to guarantee a solid and wide-ranging distribution, bringing World 2 Fly closer to reaching their goal of connecting Spain and Portugal with more destinations throughout the Caribbean region.
